Provide a Goat
$70: Provide a goat. One goat can start a herd for a family at which point they give a goat away to another family. A goat can be the difference between barely surviving and thriving.
Expanding animal care
-
$50: Provide medicine for a mobile clinic: animal owners and GDAC projects currently support about 25% of the costs of a mobile clinic. Covid and political unrest has slowed us down a bit but our veterinary field agents are still working and providing veterinary care to our community in 2022. We still need to provide support for medicine for these clinics.
-
Our fourth veterinary field agent has graduated from Ag-Horizon school in 2021. She works with our other agents to provide care to animals in the Mombin Crochu area.
Prepare a Family to Recieve a Goat
Transportation!!

-
Prepare the family’s goat before they receive it, using preventative medicines, such as wormer, antibiotics and vitamins.

$35,000: This is Dr.Crowdis's truck and we want one too!! Our vet agents potentially cover a 74 square kilometer area and are renting motorcycles to do it. We need to provide a vehicle to allow veterinary agents to safely travel in teams with medications through our large district. We are saving money for this goal
-
$300: Modify our large truck to allow safe transport of live animals to market
Support Self-Sufficiency
Thank you
to our donors who have made
this all possible
-
COFFEE!! (2021) - We were not able to ship coffee to the US this year due to the factors beyond our control in the country of Haiti. But we are continuing to prepare for harvesting coffee by building a secure shelter for our equipment and educating farmers in the best growing and harvesting practices. Income from this will go directly to the farmers and to support our veterinary program.
-
$240: Sustain plantings for livestock feed and income-generating produce for one year. Our nursery continues to provide starter crop plants and seeds for the community.
-
$840: To buy and transport concrete, doors and labor to secure the "GDAC Building" for equipment storage
-
$100- provide food for a farmer education events and GDAC community meetings
